In 1949 my hometown was liberated. Since then great changes have taken place there. The streets have been widened. Factories， schools， hospitals， cinemas and theatres have sprung up one after another.The life of the people is greatly improved.

There are many distinctive buildings and paths there. You may get lost in so many paths， but you don’t have to worry. And every path has its own beautiful scenery. I love my beautiful hometown.
我的家鄉是廈門，十二年前我出生在那里。我此刻住在福建省的首府福州市。廈門是一個很漂亮的城市，每年都有很多游客到那里旅游。整個城市都很干凈整潔。過去，我就住在廈門市里，離碼頭很近。碼頭是最繁忙的地方，因為每一天都有成千上萬的人從那里去鼓浪嶼。鼓浪嶼是一個小島，島上有許多特色建筑和小道。行走其中，你可能會迷路，但是不必擔心，每一條小道都有獨特的美麗景色。我愛我美麗的家鄉。
